This is long overdue, but I just wanted to send you a big think you to the Guys that worked long hours to complete the A7 upper and lower guide bearings. Besides providing us with the exact dimensions and tolerances we requested, myself and the mechanic crew here at Hoover was impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. It’s not often we receive a part back from a vendor that has been cleaned, deburred, and had every thread chased. These two bearings arrived at Hoover in a truly “ready to Install” condition.

To the leadership at PME I would like to personally thank you and your team for the prompt response to Exelon Nuclear’ s request to re-spin a Westinghouse low pressure turbine bearing during our Braidwood Stations spring 2015 outage. This bearing was removed during a normal maintenance PM requiring an emergent Babbitt recasting. We called the PME emergency number due to this being over the Easter weekend. Your team immediately responded, assembled a team of technician’s worked with Turbine Services team regarding all aspects of this repair from schedule to transportation.

All in, your team beat your projected scheduled duration for this repair and we received the bearing on-site supporting our schedule with no impact. That in itself is very remarkable being a holiday weekend.

Your team has always supported our needs in a very respectful, professional, timely and with the highest of quality.
